Gardening Get Togethers
Feel free to drop into one of our Gardening Get-togethers at the garden on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 11am and 1pm to talk to us about becoming a member or volunteer or just for a look around at our beautiful garden and see the work we do. Our Gardening Get Togethers are a way for our members and volunteers to tend the garden and individual beds together, giving us the chance to socialise, help each other out and share knowledge and also carry out essential garden maintenance. A member of our steering group will always be there at these times if you need help or advice. You don't have to be experienced to get involved.
Become a Member
Becoming a member of LCGP has many benefits. It includes use of your own raised bed to grow fruit, veg and flowers for yourself, the use of tools, polytunnel, priority access to our workshops and events. It also gives you the chance to meet like-minded, local people from your community. Membership costs £24 a year (discount if you renew membership early), drop in or email to find out more. Membership is limited to availability of member raised beds however we can add you to the waiting list. If you would like to get involved sooner you can always become a volunteer (see below)

Become a Volunteer
We always need extra hands at the garden or at one of our orchards, whether it's doing some weeding, digging, pruning or helping at one of our events or even just to get the kettle lighting for a cup of tea at our biweekly Gardening Get-Togethers. We will happily share whatever communal/extra produce with our volunteers. Drop in or email to find out more.
